1. What we collect
Dorklist may collect account information such as your email address, authentication metadata, subscription status, saved dorks, search history, usage counts, and product preferences. We may also collect technical information such as device, browser, IP-derived region, logs, and error diagnostics.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Dorklist library, builder, saved dorks, and account features.
- To manage authentication, subscriptions, billing, and Pro access.
- To improve performance, reliability, security, and product quality.
- To detect abuse, enforce limits, and protect Dorklist and its users.
- To send product updates or account-related notices where appropriate.
3. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. Dorklist does not store full card numbers. Payment providers process billing information according to their own terms and privacy notices.
4. Third-party services
Dorklist may use infrastructure and product services for authentication, database hosting, analytics, email, payments, ads, and error monitoring. These providers process data only as needed to operate the service, secure it, and improve the product.
5. Search queries and saved content
Dorklist is built around search operators and dork workflows. If you save dorks, create collections, or use search history features, that content may be stored in your account so the product can show it back to you. Avoid storing secrets, private credentials, or sensitive third-party data in Dorklist.
6. Cookies and local storage
Dorklist may use cookies and browser storage for authentication, preferences, usage state, changelog notifications, and product prompts. You can control cookies through your browser, but some features may stop working if required storage is disabled.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and maintain records. If account deletion is available in settings, using it may remove or anonymize account-related data subject to operational and legal requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Dorklist. No online service is perfectly secure. If you believe you found a vulnerability, please follow our Responsible Disclosure process.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, use the contact channel listed on Dorklist or in your account communications.
